Manhattan Transfer in town

JAKARTA (JP): American vocal group the Manhattan Transfer will
hold a concert at the Jakarta Hilton International Hotel's Golden
Ballroom on April 3.

The concert, sponsored by Buena Produktama, is to promote the
group's newest album Tonin.

The group of four vocalists -- Cheryl Bentyne, Tim Hauser,
Alan Paul and Janis Siegel-- is best known for its acapella
arrangements.

The group, established in l971, has released 19 albums
including Jukin and Extensions, and has won ten Grammy Awards.

Tickets for the concert, one night only, will cost between Rp
100,000 (US$50) and Rp 350,000 ($175). (raw)
