JAKARTA – The Manggarai bus stop will be temporarily closed starting Saturday (2/5/2026) at 05.00 WIB. Transjakarta passengers will be redirected to temporary stops on the roadside as the construction of the Jakarta LRT continues in the area. This closure information was shared via the Instagram account @infotije. The adjustment is being made to support the accelerated work on the Jakarta LRT project in the Manggarai area. “Starting Saturday, 2 May 2026, at 05.00 WIB, the Manggarai bus stop will be temporarily closed in relation to the construction of the Jakarta LRT in the Manggarai area,” wrote @infotije, quoted on Thursday (30/4/2026). Passengers can use the temporary stops provided on the roadside to access several routes, namely corridors 4, 4D, 6M, and B25. This closure is part of the Jakarta LRT Phase 1B construction, which connects Velodrome to Manggarai Station. The project is targeted to begin operations in August 2026. The President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) or Jakpro, Iwan Takwin, stated that the project is currently entering the operational preparation stage, including system testing before it officially opens to the public. In addition, Jakpro is also preparing the commissioning test process and operational permits from the Ministry of Transportation to ensure the entire system runs safely when serving passengers. In the Manggarai area, this line will later be integrated with various other modes of transportation, such as the KRL Commuter Line Jabodetabek and Transjakarta, so it is expected to improve connectivity and mobility for the community.
