Manggala Health Screening Center

Manggala Health Screening Center

From Kompas

Last November my company sent its employees for a general
checkup to the Manggala Health Screening Center in the Manggala
Wanabhakti building on Jl. Gatot Subroto, Jakarta.

Manggala's service turned out to be time consuming and lacking
in professionalism. The checkup took up to six hours, not because
of the great number of tests but because of the waiting time
between tests.

A Manggala official said that the delays were due to certain
employees having to perform more than one task, thus upsetting
any idea of a schedule. Even more ludicrous was the explanation
given by another official: The service was slow because the
client paid a certain amount for a certain type of package and
therefore could not expect to be served quickly.

It was irritating to see that some clients got preferential
treatment with a minimum of waiting time.

Doubts about the accuracy and validity of the tests also
arose. The doubts seem to be well founded. One of my friends
found an irregularity in the results received. His blood group
had been changed from "O" to "B". Can a blood group change? Who
is responsible for this error?
