Manager Fest 2026 Achieves Guinness World Records™ for Most Business Cards Collected in 8 Hours
Manager Fest 2026, held on 16 May 2026 at fX Sudirman, Jakarta, has successfully achieved a Guinness World Records™ for the category ‘Most Business Cards Collected in 8 Hours’. This achievement reinforces its position as one of the largest collaborative platforms for young professionals in Indonesia.
Now in its third year, Manager Fest 2026 is an annual event initiated by Minutes of Manager. This year’s edition featured over 120 speakers across more than 45 discussion sessions, attracting over 2,000 attendees and receiving support from dozens of cross-industry collaborative partners.
Taking place across various venues within fX Sudirman, including GSIH, CGV, and BINUS, Manager Fest 2026 provided a dynamic learning experience, combining insights, reflection, and direct interaction between professionals.
Siti Desiree Nasfhia, representing Minutes of Manager, led the attempt to collect the business cards. This initiative served not only as an attempt to break a record but also as a method of direct engagement with every individual involved.
Official Adjudicator from Guinness World Records™, Mai McMillan, stated that this record is more than just a numerical achievement; it is a symbol of connectivity between individuals in an ever-changing working world. According to McMillan, the effort represents the core essence of human encounters in professional spaces.
“Manager Fest 2026 is about people meeting others and building connections. The record attempted by Desiree symbolises that spirit, and she achieved it remarkably. She went beyond the requirements of the guidelines by interacting directly with every person who provided her with a business card,” said McMillan.
Meanwhile, Radityo (Theo) Haryo Putro, PR and Brand Communications Manager at Guinness World Records™, noted that this achievement reflects both the scale of participation and the relevance of human connection in the modern era.
“This record demonstrates that amidst digital transformation, connection and collaboration remain essential foundations in the professional world. Initiatives like this show that human interaction remains key to shaping the future,” said Theo.
He added that the achievement aligns with the theme of Manager Fest 2026, ‘Shape the Shift’, which stems from the reality that today’s changes arrive faster than many are prepared for. In such a situation, connection is no longer merely an addition but a vital component in reading directions, opening opportunities, and shaping future steps.
“We believe that connection does not end with the exchange of business cards. Behind every interaction, there is always the potential for new collaboration and opportunities. This record serves as a reminder that amidst change, human relationships remain the most relevant foundation,” he concluded.
Through this achievement, Manager Fest 2026 asserts that amidst the acceleration of change, what endures is not just ideas or technology, but the connections built in reality.
