Management reports 166,955 visitors to Ancol during long holiday period

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol management reported 166,955 visitors to the family tourism destination in North Jakarta between May 27 and 31, 2026.

Daniel Windriatmoko, Corporate Communication of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, said: “Alhamdulillah, this number exceeds the target of 150,000 visitors over six days from May 27 to June 1, 2026. Today is still within the long holiday period.”

He noted the highest visitor count was on Sunday, May 31, with 48,140 people, followed by Saturday, May 30 (35,461), and Wednesday, May 27, coinciding with Idul Adha 1447 Hijriah (34,943).

The most visited areas within Ancol were the coastal beaches, including Karnaval Beach, Lagoon Beach, Festival Beach, and others. Additionally, Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), Sea World, Samudera Ancol, and Jakarta Bird Land (JBL) were popular among visitors.

Syahmudrian Lubis, Director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, said on May 30 that a programme running from June 8 to 19, 2026, from 4pm to 11pm WIB, supports Jakarta’s 499th anniversary celebrations. The initiative allows the public to enjoy the coastal recreational area, one of the capital’s iconic leisure spots.

Through this programme, visitors can partake in various activities such as leisurely walks along the beach, sunset viewing, culinary experiences, and watching the dancing fountain show, a popular evening attraction at Ancol.

He noted the programme reflects the company’s commitment to providing inclusive recreational spaces and contributing to the festivities of Jakarta’s 499th anniversary.

“Ancol continues to strive to offer programmes that not only deliver recreational experiences but also strengthen the role of the tourist area as a public space supporting urban residents’ quality of life,” Syahmudrian said.
