Man suicides in Tangerang

TANGERANG (JP): A tire-repair man was found dead with his
mouth foaming in his workshop on Jl. Cisauk in Serpong on Monday
morning.

The local police believed that Parningatan Simbolon, 23, had
committed suicide by drinking a mixture of pesticide, eight pills
for asthma and a bottle of a drink widely believed to supply
extra energy.

They based their judgment on the discovery of the can of the
pesticide, pill packets and the bottle next to the body of the
victim.

But the police officers were still in the dark about the
reason for Simbolon to end his life in such a dire fashion.

The police only found a letter that read: "Keep up the
struggle Lae (brother in Batak) Tobing, I did it because I'm not
responsible to you. Goodbye for me."

Witnesses had seen Simbolon drinking some beer the night
before he was found dead. (41/jun)
