Man stabbed to death in police raid

KENDARI, Southeast Sulawesi: Forty-one-year-old La Mulia was
stabbed to death at Marhum Bau-bau seaport, Buton, upon arrival
from Ambon on Thursday.

The victim was stabbed by an unidentified man after he refused
to allow his bag to be examined by local police.

"The victim died in the Baubau General Hospital and the body
was sent to his relatives in Buton for burial," said a policeman.

Adj. Sr. Comr. Sarbini, chief of the Baubau Police precinct
said that police were still investigating the case. --Antara
