Man says Anwar sodomized him

KUALA LUMPUR (Agencies): The key witness in the sodomy trial
of Anwar Ibrahim said on Monday he had sex with the former deputy
premier up to 15 times before a separate incident involving Anwar
and his adopted brother in 1993.

Former driver Azizan Abu Bakar told the high court his first
sexual encounter with Anwar took place in a house at the Port
Dickson beach resort south of Kuala Lumpur in early 1992.

The Malaysian judge hearing Anwar's sodomy trial on Monday
ordered Chandra Muzaffar, the deputy president of Anwar's wife's
newly formed National Justice Party (Keadilan), to appear before
him to answer possible contempt charges for allegedly criticizing
the trial's proceedings.

Chandra's press statement which had been posted on the
Keadilan website and published on Monday by the Harakah newspaper
read: "It is a shame that elements in the police force, in the
attorney general's chambers, in the courts and in the media are
prepared to be subservient tools in this massive conspiracy
hatched by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and his cohorts."
