Man mobbed for attempted robbery

BOGOR (JP): A man was mobbed by residents of Tegallega village
in the Cigudeg district here on Tuesday when he was caught
attempting to break into a local resident's house.

The victim, identified as Dadang, 23, died of severe stab
wounds.

The victim's body was sent by local police to PMI Hospital in
Bogor for a postmortem examination.

One of the residents, who asked for anonymity, said that local
people were fed up with the victim's behavior.

"Possibly because the victim often raged at people in the
village, they mobbed him," he said. (24/hhr)
