Man Missing Since April Found with Only His Skull Remaining in Forest

As reported by detikBali on Friday, 15th May 2026, the Chief of Police for Malaka, AKBP Riki Ganjar Gumilar, stated that the incident began when a resident with the initials BB visited Antonius’s house to inquire about his whereabouts on Monday, 11th May. At that time, only Antonius’s wife, Leonarda Belak, was at home. Leonarda told BB that her husband had left the house on Tuesday, 28th April 2026, after they had an argument. The argument reportedly started when Antonius cut open a sack of corn. After the incident, Antonius immediately left the house. The family had reportedly filed a missing person report with the Laenmanen Police. After several days of searching, Antonius was found in a distressing condition in the Kalalaran river area, Meotroi Village, on Tuesday, 12th May, at approximately 13:30 local time. “After receiving the report, police officers conducted a search with the help of local residents. The victim had been missing from home since 28th April 2026, and when found, only his skull remained,” said Riki.
