Man kills own brother

JAKARTA (JP): A 39-year-old man was stabbed to death by his
brother Saturday night in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, because the
victim kept asking their mother for money.

Armansyah, 36, fatally stabbed Darwin in the chest after a
bitter argument at their house, a relative said yesterday.

According to the relative, who asked for anonymity, an
apparently drunk Armansyah saw his brother yell at their mother
for money.

"Armansyah advised his brother not to keep asking their mother
for money. But Darwin was angry with his younger brother. Then
they fought," the relative said at the Cipto Mangunkusumo General
Hospital morgue.

Armansyah allegedly picked up a knife from the table and
stabbed Darwin. The victim died on the way to the hospital and
Armansyah turned himself in to police. (jun)
