Man killed in robbery

BOGOR (JP): Local police said yesterday they know the
whereabouts of a man who killed a resident of Rawa Kalong
subdistrict in Gunung Sindur and severely injured his wife in a
robbery on Saturday.

Col. Abubakar Nataprawira, head of Bogor police, said
Aliansyah Sule, 41, died from 13 stab wounds to his body. His
wife, Rosmawati Hutapea, 35, is being treated at PMI hospital in
Bogor after being stabbed four times.

Abubakar said the police had traced the killer, but declined
to give further details.

"We hope we can capture him as soon as possible," he
said.

Aliansyah was a dealer of vehicle spare parts and his wife was
a vegetable seller.

The motive for the killing was unknown, Abubakar said, but he
speculated that the suspect may have attacked the pair after
being surprised in the house.

He said the robber entered the house by the kitchen door and
immediately attacked Aliansyah when he came out of his bedroom.

Rosmawati was stabbed when she came out of another room on
hearing the commotion, he said. (24)
