Man in Tangerang Forced to Masturbate After Resigning from Loan Shark Job

A man identified as PG has reported his employer and four colleagues to the Tangerang Resort Police for alleged assault, false imprisonment, and sexual abuse after he attempted to resign from his job at a mobile bank. The incident occurred on Tuesday night (28/7) in Panongan, Tangerang Regency, when the victim met his boss, identified as ED, to hand in his resignation.

According to the victim’s lawyer, Risman Harefa, the boss rejected the resignation and subsequently detained the victim. From around 11 p.m. local time, five colleagues physically assaulted the victim while drinking alcohol. The assault, which lasted over five hours until approximately 4:30 a.m. the following morning, involved punching, kicking, and burning the victim with cigarettes. The perpetrators also forced the victim to masturbate under the threat of being stabbed with a knife.

After the initial assault, the victim was moved to a house in front of the cooperative office where he was to be locked up. However, as the perpetrators fell asleep under the influence of alcohol, the victim managed to escape through a window gap. He subsequently sought medical treatment, where doctors found he had sustained severe bruising across his body and a near-rupture of a blood vessel in his brain. The case has been formally lodged with the Tangerang Police, with five individuals reported for the combined offences of assault, false imprisonment, and sexual abuse.
