Man in Mataram Assaults Girlfriend After Disguising Himself as a Woman to Enter Her Boarding House

A man identified by the initials RU, also known as Amin (22), has been arrested by police for brutally assaulting his girlfriend in a boarding house room in Ampenan District, Mataram City. The victim sustained multiple injuries as a result of the attack.

They were in a relationship but did not live together. The man was visiting the victim’s boarding house. Amin assaulted his girlfriend on Thursday morning (9/7). He gained entry to the boarding house by disguising himself as a woman, as the accommodation is strictly for female tenants.

The assault occurred because the perpetrator was jealous and accused the victim of having an affair with the boarding house owner. The victim denied the accusation, but the enraged perpetrator continued to attack her savagely. The altercation began as an argument before escalating into the assault.

Amin punched his girlfriend in the face with his bare hands. He then struck her on the head with a rice cooker and a toilet brush, and slammed her head against the wall. The victim was also whipped with an electric fan cable. Amin has now been named a suspect and is being detained at the Mataram Police Station.
