A man named Musa Misa died after being struck by his wife, Yuliana Tefa, using a shock absorber in Oinlasi Village, South Amanatun District, Timor Tengah Selatan (TTS), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The suspect has been taken into police custody.

TTS Police Chief, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Kristyan Martino, said the incident occurred on Monday (24/8/2026) at around 4:00 a.m. local time. Musa returned home intoxicated after consuming alcohol. He suddenly uttered harsh words and scolded Yuliana, who was asleep at the time, and threatened to kill her.

Kristyan said the suspect had repeatedly committed similar acts. Yuliana, who became enraged, then grabbed a shock absorber in the bedroom and immediately struck her husband.

Yuliana struck her husband’s head repeatedly until he died at the scene. Afterwards, the suspect did not flee and remained at her home until police arrived.

“The suspect was cooperative when officers arrived at the scene,” Kristyan said, as reported by detikBali on Tuesday (25/8/2026).

Police immediately conducted a crime scene investigation and detained Yuliana. She is currently undergoing intensive questioning at the TTS Police headquarters.

“The suspect also admitted to her actions during interrogation,” he said.
