Man in Bogor Robbed at Gunpoint After Dropping Off Girlfriend

A man with the initials MZ (20) is suspected to have fallen victim to a robbery in Rancabungur Village, Rancabungur District, Bogor, West Java. The victim’s motorcycle was snatched by the perpetrators.

“The stolen item is one black and white Honda BeAT motorcycle with registration number F-2536-ABF, along with the ignition key,” said the Chief of Rancabungur Police, Ipda Yudhi Widhiana, on Friday (11/09/2026).

The incident occurred on Thursday (10/09) at approximately 23:05 WIB. Yudhi stated that the event began when the victim was passing through the location after dropping his girlfriend home.

“According to the victim’s statement, it began after the victim finished dropping off his girlfriend, then he was passing through the scene of the incident,” he explained.

Subsequently, the victim was overtaken and cornered by the perpetrators, who were riding a single motorcycle together. One of the perpetrators then kicked the victim, causing him to fall.

“After that, as the victim attempted to get up and retrieve his motorcycle, the perpetrator suddenly pointed what is suspected to be an improvised firearm at him,” he clarified.

The case is currently under police investigation, which includes an effort to identify the two suspects believed to have robbed the victim’s motorcycle.

“The suspects are under investigation,” he added.
