Man hunted for assault

TANGERANG (JP): A number of detectives are looking for a man, who is believed to have assaulted his father with a hoelike tool.

Sanukri, 35, has been reportedly attacked and wounded his fifty-year-old father Saabih while the old man was taking a good nap alone at their home in Teluk Naga, Tangerang, Friday afternoon.

The old man has managed to run out of the house and called on his neighbors for help before he was brought to the Tangerang hospital for severe injuries in the neck, face and waist.

Police quoted the victim's other son, Al Hadad, 19, as saying over the weekend that his brother might not emotionally be in a good condition at that time.

Al Hadad was the one who reported the case to the police. (cst)
