Man Found Dead in Citeureup Bogor Plantation, Sharp Weapon Wounds on Back

A man with the initials E (20) was found dead lying in a plantation on the edge of Jalan Raya Karang Asem Barat, Citeureup, Bogor Regency. When discovered, the victim had sharp weapon wounds to his back.

Citeureup Police Chief Kompol Eddy Santosa confirmed that police received information from the public about a person lying in the plantation near the road. The body was found by a passing resident on Thursday morning at around 4.30 a.m. Western Indonesia Time. The victim was lying in the grass of a cassava plantation bordering a river.

Police conducted a crime scene investigation and observed that the victim had wounds to his back. Eddy has not yet confirmed whether the death was related to a brawl on Jalan Raya Bogor or a street crime, and said the investigation is ongoing.

Police are currently tracing information and reviewing CCTV recordings around the location. Four witnesses have been questioned and their statements are being examined. Officers hope to find CCTV footage in the vicinity that could help uncover the circumstances of the incident.
