Man Falls from Third Floor at South Jakarta Mall

A man fell from the third floor of a mall in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta. The victim has been evacuated. From photographs circulating on social media, the victim was evacuated by mall staff or security personnel. It has been reported that the fall was a suspected suicide. The victim died at the scene. The incident occurred on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at 13:00 WIB. Kebayoran Lama Sector Police Chief, Kompol Muhammad Kukuh Islami, confirmed the incident. “Indeed, there was an incident,” he said when contacted by reporters. He added that the victim was a man. Police are currently collecting witnesses and the chronology of the incident. The case is being handled by Kebayoran Lama Police. “The victim is male,” he said.
