Man dies of too much coffee

TANGERANG: Too much caffeine is bad for your heart, doctor
says.

But heartbroken Yanto Linko, 61, who formerly a successful
ceramic businessman, took up to 15 cups of coffee every day in
the whole week until his neighbors found him dead late on
Thursday on his rent house in Pondok Aries housing complex,
Pondok Benda subdistrict, Serpong district of Tangerang.

"He looked sad when he got home last week from visiting his
wife who had divorced him," said Darmawan, who owns the rent
house.

"He was changed ... he entered his room at about 12 a.m. and
would not come out until the evening, while all the time he drank
coffee," he added.

The concerned neighbors knocked the door on Thursday evening
but got no response. Peeping through the window, Darmawan and
others saw the father of two lying naked on the bed.

The forensic doctors found no signs of torture and poison in
the body which was taken later to the wife's house in Pamulang
subdistrict of Tangerang, for burial. -- JP
