Man dies after swallowing tooth

PALANGKA RAYA, Central Kalimantan: A middle-aged man in Palangka Raya choked to death on Monday after accidentally swallowing his false tooth, a local daily reported on Thursday.

Abdul Saleh was rushed by his family to the Doris Sylvanus Hospital, but died on the way, the Kalteng Post newspaper wrote.

His remains were taken to Martapura subdistrict, Banjar, South Kalimantan, for burial at his birthplace. -- Antara
