Man Dies After Jumping From Third Floor of Mall in South Jakarta

A man died after jumping from the third floor of a mall in South Jakarta on Sunday (8 March). The man was taken to Fatmawati Hospital before being pronounced dead. ‘For now, he died at Fatmawati Hospital,’ Kebayoran Lama Police Sector Chief Kompol Muhammad Kukuh Islami told reporters. Kukuh said the incident occurred around 13:03 WIB. Meanwhile, Kombes Budi Hermanto, head of public relations for Metro Jaya Police, said the case is still being handled by Kebayoran Lama Police. ‘Officers are still conducting further investigations into the chronology and the cause of the incident,’ Budi said. As of this report, there has been no statement from the mall management in South Jakarta where the incident occurred.
