Man caught with hashish

BEKASI (Antara): Bekasi police have confiscated 5.04 kilograms of hashish and arrested three men believed to be the seller and buyers of the illegal drug.

Bekasi Police chief Lt. Col. Adjie Rustam Radja said here Tuesday that officers arrested the alleged drug pusher, Sur, 19, during a raid in Cibarusah-Cikarang last Friday.

Sur was caught with 0.4 kgs of hashish in his possession.

"After intensive questioning, we identified the buyers and learned where the drugs were hidden," he said.

The police later also arrested Din, 40, a trader in Pondok Gede, believed to be one of the buyers of the drugs, he added.

Din admitted that he had bought five kilograms of hashish from Sur for Rp 1.6 million (US$200) per kilogram and consigned it to Bah, 48, Adjie said.

Police found the hashish in five boxes when they raided Bah's house last Saturday.

Bah contended that he kept Din's goods but was unaware of their contents.
