A shocking incident occurred at Lawang Sewu in Semarang Central District. A man carrying a sharp weapon fell from the second floor. According to detikJateng, at around 6.40 PM WIB, an ambulance was present at the Lawang Sewu angkringan area with a man being placed inside. Bloodstains were visible on the ground, and police were at the scene with the suspected weapon. Semarang Central Police Chief Kompol Sugito confirmed the incident, stating investigations are ongoing. When asked if someone had jumped, he replied, ‘Yes. One victim, broken leg. Is it suicide? Still under investigation.’ He added, ‘The victim slipped, a Kalimantan resident, hence carrying a Dayak-style mandau. Initials HA.’ He further explained the man likely slipped from the second floor, and police have yet to question the victim about the weapon. When asked if it was a dare, he said, ‘No, it was a slip. What was the weapon for? Still under investigation.’
