Man arrested for threats
CENTRAL LOMBOK, West Nusa Tenggara: A man from Rambitan village, Pujut district in Central Lombok regency, West Nusa Tenggara, has been apprehended by the police for allegedly making bomb threats, police said on Tuesday.
Central Lombok Police resort chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Ruslan confirmed the police had arrested the man for making the threats.
The man, identified only as HS, sent a message to a friend who worked as a security guard at the Surfer Inn Hotel in Kute, advising that he would blow up the hotel and Novotel Hotel, both located in Kute tourist area. The guard reported the matter to the police.
"In the examination, the man said he sent the message for fun to scare his friend," Ruslan said, adding that the man would be processed according to the law. -- Antara
