PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia (MAMI) has reinforced its position as one of the largest investment managers in the country, recording assets under management (AUM) of Rp125 trillion as of June 2026. This figure represents a market share of approximately 12.5% among the roughly 90 investment managers operating in Indonesia.

CEO & President Director of Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia, Afifa, stated that this achievement reflects the compounding excellence strategy the company has pursued over the past three decades through the development of relevant investment solutions for both individual and institutional investors. “This 30-year journey is not just about age, but about the trust we have continuously built and maintained over time. We are grateful to have grown alongside Indonesian investors and will remain committed to delivering relevant, high-quality, and sustainable investment solutions to help people achieve their financial goals,” she said in an official statement on Friday (17/7/2026).

As of the end of June 2026, more than 2.6 million Indonesians were recorded as MAMI investors. Of the total Rp125 trillion in AUM, Rp58 trillion originated from Kontrak Pengelolaan Dana (KPD), making MAMI one of the largest institutional investment managers in Indonesia. In the mutual fund business, MAMI also maintained its industry leadership, with managed mutual fund assets reaching Rp67 trillion as of June 2026 and a market share of 10.2%. The company holds a leading position in equity and fixed-income mutual fund asset classes.

To broaden investor access, MAMI currently offers 38 mutual fund products and 70 KPDs, encompassing equity, bond, balanced, and money market funds, as well as Sharia-compliant products in both rupiah and US dollar denominations. These products are distributed through at least 24 banking partners and 12 non-banking partners, and are available on various online and offline investment platforms.

As it celebrates 30 years of presence in Indonesia, MAMI is also entering a new chapter following the official completion of Manulife Wealth & Asset Management’s acquisition of PT Schroder Investment Management Indonesia through MAMI on 1 April 2026, after securing approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This move is part of Manulife’s long-term strategy to strengthen its investment management business in Indonesia. According to Afifa, the foundation built through investment discipline, robust risk management, and a focus on investor interests will serve as capital for the company to continue growing amid market dynamics. “With the support of Manulife Wealth & Asset Management’s global strength, deep local experience, and the trust placed in us by millions of investors, MAMI is ready to embark on the next phase of its journey through innovation, expanding its positive impact, and reinforcing its role as the investment partner of choice for the Indonesian people,” she concluded.
