Mamah Dedeh says Prabowo spoke to ulama about war conditions at the Presidential Palace

Jakarta — Pendakwah Dedeh Rosidah, better known as Mamah Dedeh, revealed that President Prabowo Subianto told ulama about geopolitical conditions, including war, during a silaturahmi and iftar at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday night. Mamah Dedeh was among the figures invited by President Prabowo to participate in the silaturahmi with ulama, leaders of mass organisations, and leaders of pesantren. ‘He explained about foreign affairs, the condition of foreign countries, about our country, about how wars are currently occurring, that is what he conveyed,’ Mamah Dedeh said while giving remarks at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Thursday night. In the lull between Prabowo’s briefing, Mamah Dedeh said she asked to leave early to shoot at one of the private TV stations. In the meeting which was held from 20:00 WIB, Mamah Dedeh explained that President Prabowo told of war conditions up to the national crisis. ‘So, I left early. Coincidentally (he) was still talking about the current conditions abroad and there was war earlier. After this, he said he would speak about the crisis facing the nation,’ she said. A number of figures were present, including Rais Aam Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) K.H. Miftachul Akhyar, the General Chairman of Muhammadiyah Prof. Haedar Nashir, and the General Chairman of the Indonesian Ule Association (MUI) K.H. Anwar Iskandar. Meanwhile, Red and White Cabinet ministers who attended the event included Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf, and Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar. The meeting with ulama began at 19:00 WIB and ended around 23:00 WIB.
