JAKARTA — Maluku Provincial Government is accelerating digital transformation across regional government administration by strengthening an integrated attendance system for civil servants. This initiative aims to enhance discipline, improve accuracy of personnel data, and enable more effective performance-based decision-making.

The focus is on digitising civil servant attendance records, which are considered foundational to sustainable performance management and employee discipline. Through attendance digitalisation, electronic governance systems are expected to operate more effectively and measurably.

The Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of Maluku Province, as the manager of apparatus human resources, has committed to aligning with developments in information technology. BKD Head Jasmono affirmed that technology utilisation is part of efforts to build professional and accountable personnel management. “Technology implementation is not merely about modernising systems, but about building professional, accountable personnel management oriented towards service,” Jasmono stated on Saturday (28/2/2026).

BKD is promoting implementation of an integrated attendance system capable of recording and monitoring civil servant attendance in real-time with high accuracy levels. The system is already connected to all work units within Maluku Provincial Government and will be developed in stages to integrate with the Personnel Management Information System, thereby improving the quality of personnel services comprehensively and sustainably.

The strengthening of the attendance system is also linked to Maluku Provincial Government’s bureaucratic reform mission to create a dynamic, honest, and service-oriented bureaucracy. Through integrated online attendance, work unit leaders can access employee attendance data quickly and measurably, enabling more data-driven managerial decisions.

In implementing digital government, Maluku Provincial Government is utilising an attendance ecosystem from InterActive that integrates attendance data from hardware devices and the InAct online attendance application into a unified dashboard.

This integration enables automatic and real-time data recapitulation without repetitive processes, whilst serving as the basis for performance management and employee evaluation.

CEO and Founder of InterActive Group, Alex Surya Rahardjo, expressed support for Maluku Provincial Government’s measures to strengthen the integrated attendance system as part of building data-driven personnel management. “We support Maluku Provincial Government’s efforts to strengthen the integrated attendance system as part of building more transparent, accurate, and data-driven personnel management through utilising interconnected digital ecosystems,” said Alex.

Through this system strengthening, Maluku Provincial Government is targeting improvements in administrative efficiency, data accuracy, and transparency and accountability of bureaucracy in line with the vision of modern electronic government administration.
