Mall worsens traffic

Construction of Mega Mall in Pluit, North Jakarta, was
completely wrong, because it worsens traffic problems. Prolonged
traffic jams take place every day including holidays, since there
is only one entrance on Jl. Pluit Indah.

To reach North Pluit, Pluit Permai and Pantai Mutiara, one has
to go through the bridge at Muara Karang (some three kilometers
away), because the road goes one way. This results in a heavy
congestion on Jl. Pluit Indah Raya.

Flood level tends to rise particularly during high tide.
Transportation costs also increase because all vehicles have to
go around the Mega Mall. I suggest that the government provides
alternative road to ease the traffic congestion in this area.
