Depok now has several stores: Hero, Robinson and Ramanda on
Jl. Margonda Raya. Depok Mall is now being built exactly opposite
Hero and Robinson. With the construction of this mall the traffic
will inevitably worsen. Traffic jams on this particular road are
notorious, especially in the afternoon.

In this context I would like to say a few points.

* As a consequence of the construction of the mall, traffic
has been closed from Jl. Margonda Raya to Pasar Kemiri Muka. This
is a nuisance to local residents. Actually, Depok Mall promised
to provide an alternative route but has not yet done so.

* It appears that the owner does not care what environmental
impact the construction has on the neighborhood. When it rains
part of Stankle and Bulak kampongs are flooded. It never happened
before. It was rumored that the mall would improve the drainage
system, but nothing has been done up to now.
