Malaysia's GP future in doubt
KUALA LUMPUR (Reuter): International organizers have warned
Malaysia it will be dropped from the circuit completely if it
fails to stage its world motorcycle grand prix in April as
scheduled, the national Bernama news agency reported yesterday.
The Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM), one of the local
sponsors, said race organizer Dorna had threatened to cut
Malaysia off the grand prix circuit if this year's race did not
go ahead on April 13.
"I've got a letter from Dorna, saying this country will never
be picked again for the race it if withdrew now," Bernama quoted
AAM general manager Khir Anuar Mohamed as saying.
