Malaysian man found dead in pond

BOGOR: The body of a Malaysian citizen was found floating in Tunggeulis pond in Cileungsi district by residents on Monday. He had apparently died of strangulation.

The victim, identified as Boo Nga Sing (51), had been residing in Indonesia for the past 15 years and was technical director of PT Malatek in Cimanggis, West Java.

According to the victim's wife, Sri Suparti, Boo left for Bandung on Sunday accompanied by his friend Bryan who lives in Cibubur.

Before driving back to Bogor, Boo called Sri to inform her that he would be dropping off his friend before returning home.

That was the last time Sri heard from her husband. The car Boo was driving is now missing. --JP
