Malaysia urges its citizens to stay away from the U.S. Embassy in Doha in anticipation of an attack

Kuala Lumpur (ANTARA) - Malaysian authorities have urged their citizens located within a 1.5 km radius of the United States Embassy in Doha, Qatar, to move away urgently in anticipation of an attack.

“All Malaysian nationals living within 1.5 kilometres of the U.S. Embassy are advised to seek shelter elsewhere,” said the Malaysian Embassy in Doha, Qatar, as published by the Malaysian Foreign Ministry in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.

The Malaysian Embassy in Doha has received information that there is a risk of an attack against the United States Embassy in Al Rayyan, Doha.

Previously, Malaysian authorities stated that the government’s main focus is to ensure the safety of its citizens in conflict zones in Iran and in Western Asia.

Malaysia condemns Israel’s attack with U.S. support against Iran, as well as Iran’s retaliatory attacks aimed at Western Asian countries.
