Malaysia urges Indonesia to strengthen intra-ASEAN trade to counter US tariffs (Part 2)
Malaysia’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Dato’ Syed Mohamad Hasrin Tengku Hussin, has stated that Indonesia and Malaysia bear special responsibility for ensuring the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) remains relevant and strong in the face of global economic uncertainty, including high tariff policies from the United States.
According to Ambassador Hussin in the International Corner segment, one approach is to intensify trade cooperation among ASEAN member states and seek alternative markets.
