Malaysia to host GP event in April
KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters): Malaysia will replace Argentina as the
venue for a world motorcycling championship race on April 2 next
year, officials said on Thursday.
Hussin Ali, general manager of the Sepang circuit, said
Argentina, who hosted on Oct. 31 the final grand prix of this
year's championship, felt they did not have sufficient time to
prepare for another race in April.
In October, the new Sepang circuit was the venue for this
season's penultimate Formula One world championship race.
