Malay song contest

PEKANBARU, Riau: The Art Council of Riau (DKR) is holding a Malay song contest for Sumatra in Laman Bujang Mat Syam, Pekanbaru.

The two-day contest starting on Friday aims to boost creativity among the Sumatran people and revive the popularity of Malay music in Riau and throughout the nation, according to organizing committee chairman Zuarman Ahmad.
