Mal Artha Gading and Artha Graha Peduli Distribute Sacrificial Animals for 1447 AH Eid al-Adha
In observance of Eid al-Adha 1447 AH, Mal Artha Gading and Artha Graha Peduli have once again distributed sacrificial animals as part of their social responsibility efforts to strengthen community solidarity. This year’s Eid al-Adha saw Mal Artha Gading distribute sacrificial animals to various needy parties, including the Nurul Hidayah Al-Bahar Orphanage Foundation in North Jakarta, as part of social synergy and positive community relations. The annual Qurban programme involved active participation from employees, volunteers, local communities, and business units under the Artha Graha Group and Artha Graha Network. Sacrificial animals — comprising cattle and goats — were collected and distributed across various regions as a tangible expression of sharing spirit and social care during Eid al-Adha 2026. Distributions were carried out in phases, primarily in areas surrounding Artha Graha Group and Artha Graha Network business units, targeting various community groups including Islamic boarding schools, assisted communities, local mosques, military and police personnel, and other socially disadvantaged groups. Gerry Hamoraon, Field Coordinator at Mal Artha Gading, stated that the spirit of Eid al-Adha carries profound meaning in terms of sincerity, sacrifice, and social solidarity, which must be upheld and nurtured collectively. “We believe that the sacrifice is not merely slaughtering animals, but an opportunity to foster compassion, strengthen social solidarity, and deliver tangible benefits to those in need. This is a synergy between Mal Artha Gading and stakeholders, including our partners at Nurul Hidayah Al-Bahar Orphanage Foundation in North Jakarta and other regions,” said Gerry Hamoraon. Appreciation was also expressed by the DKM (Masjid Management Board) of Al-Asyaroh Mosque and residents of RW 010 in Kampung Harapan, Rawa Badak Selatan Village, Koja District, North Jakarta. RW 010 Head Fransiskus X. Pati thanked Artha Graha Peduli for the sacrificial animal assistance. “We are deeply grateful to Artha Graha Peduli’s leadership for the sacrificial animal assistance, which has greatly benefited our community. This gesture sets a positive example and we hope it brings blessings and success to Artha Graha Peduli,” said Fransiskus X. Pati on Wednesday, 27 May 2026. All distributed sacrificial animals underwent health checks in accordance with standard protocols. The meat was then directly distributed to beneficiaries, particularly the destitute, low-income communities, and other socially disadvantaged groups. Gerry Hamoraon further noted that this Eid al-Adha initiative is part of the ongoing social commitment undertaken with Artha Graha Peduli. “Beyond being an annual religious observance, the initiative also strengthens camaraderie and enhances relationships between the company, employees, and the community. This year’s Eid al-Adha activities build on previous social programmes, including the affordable markets initiative. This demonstrates Artha Graha Peduli’s sustained social programmes in support of government efforts, particularly in food security and social welfare,” he added. Through the spirit of Eid al-Adha 1447 AH, Mal Artha Gading and Artha Graha Peduli hope that sincerity, togetherness, and mutual assistance will continue to flourish in society, while expanding the reach of sustainable social programmes across Indonesia.
