Makkah Working Unit Completes Services as Final Hajj Group Departs for Madinah
Makkah (ANTARA) - The Hajj Organising Committee (PPIH) in Saudi Arabia has officially dispatched the final flight group (kloter) of second-wave pilgrims from Makkah to Madinah.
Head of the Makkah Working Area (Daker) PPIH Arab Saudi, Ihsan Faisal, stated in Makkah on Monday (22/6) that three groups were sent in stages, namely BDJ-15 (Banjarmasin), SUB-116 (Surabaya), and UPG-46 (Ujung Pandang).
According to Ihsan, the phased departure process was carried out to ensure all services ran smoothly until the pilgrims arrived in Madinah. He explained that the final group to depart was UPG-43, consisting of 245 pilgrims.
With the conclusion of the second-wave departure, the Makkah Working Unit has officially completed all service arrangements for pilgrims during their stay in the Holy City of Makkah.
Ihsan expressed hope that the movement of pilgrims would proceed well and leave a positive impression. He also stressed the importance of a smooth journey to Madinah as part of the final stage before the process of returning to Indonesia.
"All officers, especially in Daker Makkah, today, Alhamdulillah, have been able to complete all services with the closing and departure of UPG-43," said Ihsan.
He prayed that all the acts of worship performed by the pilgrims during their time in Makkah would be accepted by Allah SWT and lead them to the status of hajj mabrur.
"On behalf of the officers, we bid farewell to you, ladies and gentlemen, who will shortly leave the Holy City of Makkah Al-Mukarramah for the City of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in Madinah Al-Munawwarah. Our prayer is that all the worship you have performed is accepted by Allah SWT and that you become hajj and hajjah mabrur," said Ihsan.
