Making of 'King Kong' to screen at TMII
JAKARTA: The operator of Teater Imax Keong Emas 3D theater in
the Indonesia in Miniature Park (TMII) launched on Saturday a
program of new "special effects" films on the making of Hollywood
sci-fi movies, such as the Star Wars trilogy, Independence Day,
Jumanji, Kazaam and the classic,King Kong.
"The program will show the process behind making the most
thrilling scenes from popular movies. For example, what is behind
the scene in which King Kong falls from the Capitol tower," the
theater manager, Supawan, said on Monday.
The theater building, which takes the form of a golden snail,
was established in 1984 in a bid to provide a center of education
and recreation for families.
Supawan said the theater had invested Rp 900 million
(US$105,882) in the program. -- Antara
