Makindo uses new technology

JAKARTA (JP): Listed stock trading company Makindo said on Monday it would implement new technology from Australia to provide maximum security for all online stock transactions conducted by its clients through its cybertrade business.

The company said the use of the new technology, called SAFLING SAFsite, Internet security solution software produced by Australian-based Triton Secure, would replace the current security identification system which uses passwords and personal identification numbers.

The new technology will create unique identifiers from a client's voice, finger, face or other physical characteristics to provide better online transactions and privacy.

Makindo currently provides services for people who want to buy and sell shares in public companies on the stock market through the Internet. (cst)
