Makassar Pertamax Turbo Stock Secure Ahead of Eid 2026

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi has ensured that stocks of fuel oil (BBM) type Pertamax Turbo in Makassar City are in a safe condition amid increasing consumption ahead of Eid.

Area Manager for Communication, Relations & CSR at Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, Lilik Hardiyanto, stated that the company continues to distribute additional supplies, including shipments from the Parepare Fuel Terminal to several petrol stations to maintain stock resilience.

“We ensure that Pertamax Turbo stocks in Makassar are in a safe condition and distribution is running smoothly, even though there is an increase in consumption due to the mudik flow. We have anticipated this by adding supplies and strengthening field distribution,” he said in a written statement on Thursday (19/3/2026).

In addition, supporting regions like Maros have recorded relatively high stocks, namely above 10,200 litres per petrol station.

These stocks serve as a reserve (buffer supply) to anticipate surges in BBM needs in Makassar.

Therefore, Lilik said, the public need not worry about the availability of BBM, especially Pertamax Turbo.

“We invite the public to remain calm and not engage in panic buying. Pertamina is committed to maintaining energy supplies to ensure they are well met during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period,” he stated.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi will also continue to enhance distribution monitoring and coordinate with various parties to ensure optimal energy services during the mudik and return flow for Eid.
