Majority of Victims' Families from Terra Drone Fire Claimed to Have Reconciled with the Company

JAKARTA - Almost all families of the victims who died in the fire at PT Terra Drone Indonesia’s office are said to have received compensation from the company. Michael Wishnu Wardana’s lawyer, the Director of PT Terra Drone Indonesia, Stella M Masangi, stated that the majority of the victims’ families have also agreed to reconcile with the company. In the fire incident on 9 December 2025, 22 PT Terra Drone Indonesia employees died. “So 20 of them have been handled by the company, it’s settled. And all 20 of them are now at peace, so they have reconciled with the company,” she continued. Meanwhile, the approach to the other two victims’ families is still ongoing for compensation payments. Stella said that they cannot yet confirm the target for settling the compensation payments to those two victims’ families. At that time, Michael stated that the compensation provided ranges from Rp 150 million to Rp 200 million, depending on the work position, length of service, and salary amount of the victims. In addition to discussing compensation, Stella said that PT Terra Drone Indonesia’s operations are still running with around 300 active employees to date. Currently, the company occupies a temporary office in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta. “But the rest continues to run well to support approximately 300 employees who still depend on the company to support their families,” Stella said. Previously, the fire occurred at PT Terra Drone Indonesia’s office on Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Central Jakarta, on 9 December 2025. Michael Wishnu, as the Director of PT Terra Drone, is charged with negligence that caused the office fire and killed 22 employees.
