A total of 54 students from Sekolah Cendekia Baznas (SCB), or approximately 75 per cent of the 2026 graduating cohort, have been accepted into various state universities through multiple new student admission pathways. Pimpinan Baznas RI for Distribution, Utilisation and Empowerment Idy Muzayyad said the number of SCB graduates entering state universities has increased annually, rising from a range of 40 to 50 per cent the previous year to 75 per cent this year. Of those accepted, 13 entered through the National Test-Based Selection (SNBT), 9 through the National Achievement-Based Selection (SNBP), 28 through the National Academic Achievement Selection for State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (SPAN-PTKIN), and 4 through achievement tracks. Idy stated that this success results from the mentoring process undertaken during their education at SCB. He stressed that Baznas RI will continue to support the school’s development to produce more excellent generations who are not only academically successful but also possess strong social awareness and Islamic values. Deputy II for Distribution and Utilisation Imdadun Rahmat affirmed that SCB is a priority programme receiving special attention from Baznas RI, noting its per-student education cost is considerably larger than other programmes, reflecting the agency’s high hopes for education. He also expressed appreciation to the muzaki, donors and partners who have contributed to supporting the school.
