Major Ulama Haul at Monas: Traffic Management and Parking Arrangements Announced
The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) will implement traffic management and transport services around the National Monument (Monas) on Friday (19/6/2026). The measures are in preparation for the Haul Akbar Ulama dan Habaib Betawi 2026, which will take place from 17:00 to 22:00 WIB.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Budi Awaluddin, stated that 88 personnel have been prepared to carry out traffic engineering in the area. This is to ensure smooth mobility for both event participants and the public conducting activities around the area during the event.
“We have prepared situational traffic engineering to ensure the event runs smoothly without disrupting public mobility. Officers will also be on standby at several points to manage traffic and provide information to road users,” Budi said on Wednesday (17/6/2026).
To support the smooth running of the event, situational traffic engineering will be applied on the north side of Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, from both the west (Tanah Abang) and north (Kota) directions heading east (Senen), while prioritising public mobility and road user safety.
