A major reshuffle has occurred within the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office. Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin has carried out a widespread rotation of positions, from the central level to regional offices.
This policy is contained in two decisions numbered 488 and KEP-IV-347/C/04/2026, covering officials in the Attorney General’s Office, High Prosecutor’s Offices (Kejati), and District Prosecutor’s Offices (Kejari).
“There is indeed a rotation,” stated the Head of the Public Relations Centre for the Attorney General’s Office, Anang Supriatna, on Monday, 13 April 2026.
At the High Prosecutor’s Office level, 14 positions of Heads of High Prosecutor’s Offices (Kajati) have been reshuffled. Several strategic names have been moved, including Abdul Qohar AF entrusted to lead the East Java Kejati, Sugeng Riyanta to the Southeast Sulawesi Kejati, and Sila Haholongan to the South Sulawesi Kejati.
Changes have also occurred in other regions such as West Java, Riau, North Sumatra, up to Bali and Bengkulu. This rotation is considered a step for refreshing as well as strengthening performance in the regions.
Not only in the regions, strategic seats in the Attorney General’s Office have also shifted. Agus Sahat Sampe Tua Lumban Gaol now serves as Secretary of the Deputy Attorney General for General Criminal Affairs, while Dwi Agus Arfianto is entrusted as Director D in the same field.
In the special criminal sector, Ardito Muwardi has been appointed as Director of Prosecution. Meanwhile, Harli Siregar now fills the position of Inspector III in the supervision field.
The wave of mutations also targets the District Prosecutor’s Office level. Several names such as Bobbi Sandri (Banda Aceh), Sutrisno (Ngada), and Muhammad Indra Muda Nasution (Brebes) are included in the rotation list.
In addition, Nurul Hidayat (Sawahlunto), Widiarto Adi Nugroho (Tual), Taupiq Djalal (Bau-Bau), Edmon Novvery Purba (Karo), and Imam Fauzi (South Nias) have also received new assignments.
This major rotation step becomes a strong signal of organisational refreshing in the Adhyaksa Corps. In addition, this mutation is expected to be able to drive improvements in law enforcement performance in various regions of Indonesia.
