Jakarta – PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has formally launched the Ramadan and Eid 2026/1447H Task Force (Satgas RAFI) from 9 March to 1 April 2026. The task force is responsible for ensuring the availability of energy supply and distribution to the public during the homeward and return migration periods around Eid al-Fitr.

Eko Ricky Susanto, Director of Retail Marketing at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, stated that energy service readiness has been prepared by Pertamina Patra Niaga well in advance. This includes fuel stock readiness, which is the priority of the RAFI task force.

“We confirm that stock levels are secure. Consumers, customers, and the Indonesian public need not worry about conducting their homecoming rituals back to their home villages through to the return journey,” Eko said during a press conference on the readiness of the Ramadan and Eid 2026 task force at Pertamina Rest Area SPBU at KM 57A, Cikampek, West Java, on Monday (16 March 2026).

Eko explained that based on coordination with government ministries and agencies, the peak homeward migration is estimated to occur in two waves: 14–15 March 2026 and 18–19 March 2026. The return migration is also expected to take place in two waves, on 24–25 March and 28–29 March 2026, or before Indonesian citizens resume work and other activities on 30 March 2026.

Given these conditions, Eko predicted an increase in energy demand, particularly petrol demand rising by approximately 12%. On the other hand, gas oil, biodiesel and diesel are expected to decline by approximately 14.5%. This reduction aligns with restrictions on goods transport requested by the Ministry of Transport (Kemenhub) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri). As a result, this policy also reduced biodiesel consumption in the logistics sector.

“Furthermore, LPG is projected to increase by around 4–5%, and aviation fuel by approximately 2.8%. This is partly due to numerous extra flights at major airports. Kerosene consumption is estimated to rise by around 4.2%, as it is widely used by our compatriots in eastern Indonesia,” he explained.

Additionally, Pertamina Patra Niaga and PT Pertamina (Persero) are preparing infrastructure and services for fuel, with approximately 7,800 fuel distribution institutions, particularly fuel stations (SPBU), available and operational, and nearly 6,700 Pertashop units already established.

“We are also providing 96 units of modular fuel service and 62 Pertamina Siaga kiosks at 64 locations. At kilometre 57, we have 2 units. We are also providing approximately 200 motorcycles, or Pertamina Delivery Service units, for both fuel and LPG, particularly for areas and toll roads that may experience congestion,” Eko explained.

Eko continued that Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared 6,600 LPG agents, including both Public Service Obligation (PSO) LPG agents and non-PSO LPG agents. Additionally, 6,300 LPG Siaga SPBU units have been prepared along with Pertamina Delivery Service for the distribution of Bright Gas. Additionally, Pertamina Patra Niaga is also providing approximately 223 kerosene agents.

Moreover, Pertamina Patra Niaga is also preparing four pillars of task force services. These include energy service provision, services for priority areas, preparing areas for remote regions such as 3T (outermost, frontier and least developed regions), and preparing contingency plans for disaster-prone areas.

“As there are still extreme weather conditions in several regions, we have prepared how fuel and LPG can be distributed normally by implementing RAE (Regular Alternative Emergency),” he concluded.

Eko also stated that the company is preparing promotional services. Since the beginning of Ramadan, Pertamina Patra Niaga has been implementing various promotional programmes. From 13 March to 30 March, Pertamina Patra Niaga is offering a special discount of Rp 300 per litre for Pertamax and Dex products using the My Pertamina application, valid throughout all regions in Indonesia.

“Besides that, we are also adding additional services, we are preparing Serambi My Pertamina. There are 43 Serambi My Pertamina outlets on toll roads and two in tourist areas. This is part of our preparation to provide comfortable services to consumers, customers, and the Indonesian public during their homeward and return journey during Eid 2026,” Eko said.

Beyond that, Serambi My Pertamina is also available at airports, train stations, and major ports. Pertamina Patra Niaga is taking this step to provide comfort to consumers not only on toll roads but also at all consumer and customer activity points during the homeward and return migration periods for Eid 2026.
