Maid's body arrives home
BANDUNG: The remains of Lala Nurlaela, 28, an Indonesian domestic maid, finally arrived home on Sunday at the Soekarno- Hatta Airport, Jakarta, after being held for three months by the Saudi Arabian authorities.
Her family in Bandung, West Java, confirmed on Monday they had received Lala's remains, and that the cause of her death was still unknown.
Lala was found dead with a noose around her neck in her employer's ninth floor apartment on March 28 just four days after having arrived in Mecca.
Her father, Syah Mudin, said Lala would be buried in Nunuk Desas Mekarsari village in Pacet district, Bandung.
She is survived by three children and a husband. --Antara
