Maid's body arrives home

BANDUNG: The remains of Lala Nurlaela, 28, an Indonesian
domestic maid, finally arrived home on Sunday at the Soekarno-
Hatta Airport, Jakarta, after being held for three months by the
Saudi Arabian authorities.

Her family in Bandung, West Java, confirmed on Monday they had
received Lala's remains, and that the cause of her death was
still unknown.

Lala was found dead with a noose around her neck in her
employer's ninth floor apartment on March 28 just four days after
having arrived in Mecca.

Her father, Syah Mudin, said Lala would be buried in Nunuk
Desas Mekarsari village in Pacet district, Bandung.

She is survived by three children and a husband. --Antara
