Magnitude 4.6 Inland Earthquake Strikes Tangerang, Banten
A magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck Kabupaten Tangerang, Banten, on Saturday evening (21 February).
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that the earthquake occurred at approximately 19:23 Western Indonesian Time (WIB), with its epicentre located 3 kilometres southeast of Kabupaten Tangerang.
The quake's centre was situated inland at a depth of 160 kilometres.
