Magnitude 4.6 earthquake shakes Pangandaran, West Java

An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred at 04:04:57 WIB on 21 May 2026, according to an official post on BMKG’s X account. The quake was located at 8.16°S and 108.24°E, with its epicentre about 58 kilometres southwest of Pangandaran Regency. BMKG has not yet issued information on the impacts.
