Magnitude 2.2 Earthquake Strikes Buleleng, Bali
An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.2 shook Buleleng, Bali. The quake occurred at a depth of 12 kilometres. “Earthquake Mag: 2.2, 15-Aug-2026 19:24:03 WIB,” stated the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) on its social media account. The earthquake was detected at 8.33 degrees South latitude and 114.95 degrees East longitude. The impact of the quake is not yet known. “This information prioritises speed, so the data processing results are not yet stable and may change as data becomes more complete,” the agency wrote.
